The Concerned Tertiary Students of Journalism have expressed gratitude to Nana Akosua Frimpomaa, the Chair and Leader of Convention People’s Party for her donation of 5000 Cedis cash to defray the cost of tuition fees for students in dare need of financial assistance following a directive by management of GIJ requesting all defaulting students to defer their courses.
Speaking to Gh Press, a member of CTSJ Madam Farida Yeboah said the singular most valuable gesture by Nana Frimpomaa who stood as a mother to us at that critical times was angelic. ‘Nana simply showed Leadership by example’ she added.

Ms Farida said students and the general public also contributed additional 1870 Cedis to support . In all a total of 9 students benefited from the funds and are eligible to write their examination.
Ms Farida appealed for 3500 cedis additional funds to support 2 students who have not been able to pay a dime and risk defering their programs by close to day today.
She appeals to all good hearted citizens , Philanthropist, corporate Ghana, Pastors and fellow Ghanaians to support these 2 students .
