Ghana will on Wednesday hold a memorable Photo Exhibition and Tribute Session in honor of the last African Freedom Fighter – First President of the Republic of Zambia, Kenneth Kaunda at the DuBois Memorial Centre for Pan African Culture.

Nana Frimpomaa, the Chair and Leader of CPP in an exclusive interview with GhPress noted that, Kenneth Kaunda, while in power, hosted many of the movements fighting for independence or Black Equality in other countries around the continent, standing up to white minority rule in Angola, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa and Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe. The Convention Peoples Party believes the contribution of this noble freedom fighter merits our attention and commemoration.
CPP has promised a solemn occasion in honor of Kenneth Kaunda and called on the Presidency, Diplomatic Community, The Executive, Judiciary, Legislature, Christian Council, Political Parties, Corporate Ghana and well wishes to grace the occasion at 9 am prompt.

According to organizers of the program, a book of condolence will be opened in honor of Kenneth Kaunda alongside a legendary photo exhibition and a treat of great African cultural performances, songs and poetry.
