The Overlord of Dagbon, His Royal Majesty Ya-Naa Abukari Mahama II, has officially admitted the CPP giant Nana Akosoa Frimpomaa as a daughter of the Dagbon Kingdom.
The king made this public at his palace when a team of Convention Peoples Party Executives led by Nana Frimpomaa honoured this years Damba festival and paid homage to Ya-Na as custom demands.
In her acceptance speech, Nana Frimpomaa, the Female Politician of the Year who is characterized by her vehement, loud and forceful solution bearing opinion, related that she traces her ancestry from Yendi. Nana Hemaa said her great grand mother was an indigene of Yendi.
GhPress recall that Ya-Na Abubakari Mahama II decorated Nana Akosua Frimpomaa during her launch of MY10K Youth Intervention Project in the Northern region in August this year. He commended her for showing exemplary leadership and solution bearing initiatives aimed of winning women and youth them from abject poverty.
By the acceptance of Nana Akosua Frimpomaa as a daughter of Yendi, She officially has a her name in the books and a place in the home.
