As Ghana plunges itself deep into IMP bailout amid serious economic crises, millions of NPP patriots have called on the General Secretary John Boadu and the National Organizer of the NPP Nana Boakye to resign from their positions to save the party from further embarrassment.

The Communication Director for Osonomma, a powerful youth wing of the New Patriotic Party who doubles as a media consultant in an exclusive interview attributed the party’s dwindling popular support and apathy to the lack of vision and poor leadership to the abysmal performance of John Boadu and Nana B.

He added that the New Patriotic Party has been misled by the duo to promote sloganeering and self seeking attention instead of mobilizing the grassroot of the party to promote the party’s agenda.
“The NPP Today is as Weak as Ghana’s Economy and Keeping the duo will be Suicidal for the Party”
On the candidature of Nana B as National Organizer Hopeful, Nana Asempa was emphatic that:
“The only way he (Nana B) could win the election will be by ‘rigging: Nana B has failed as National Youth Organizer of the NPP”.
‘The NPP Needs New Leaders to Restore Confidence and Bring Back the Love to the Party’.
Asked about Party Reforms, Nana Asempa proposed that as a matter of principle, ethics and urgency the NPP should mandate all incumbent National Executives who show interest in contesting for positions to resign three (3) months to elections of new executives to ensure fairness and equal playing field. “The NPP should organize open debates for candidates to expose their mastery, in-depth knowledge about the party and lay their Programs, Planned Executions and Capacity to Deliver’.
He added that incumbency advantage is one reason why the NPP fails to elect the right executives to manage the party.

On the upcoming elections, Nana Asempa admonished voters to give Hon. Bright Essilfie-Kumi, the National Organizer Hopeful and Musah Superior, the General Secretary Hopeful a chance to man the affairs of NPP adding that these are distinguished fellows who cannot be manipulated in the selfish interest of the commanding-few.
