Authentic information linked through the Deputy CEO of Forestry Commission Hon. Musah Superior to GhPress can confirm that at 12 noon today 28th August 2022, a middle aged man jumped the security fence of the Achimota Zoo and mysteriously entered the Lions enclosure.
The unidentified man was brutally attached by one of the lions within the inner fencing resulting in
multiple injuries. GhPress can confirm that the Man has passed on.
His body has been sent to the morgue by the Achimota Police.
Authorities of Accra Zoo successfully coaxed the lion into a secured hold and has since secured the Lion, Lioness and two (2) Cubs.
The Forestry Commission wishes to assure the general public that no lion has escaped from the Achimota Zoo.
Executives if the Ministry if Lands and National Resources and the Forestry Commission have since visited the Achimota Zoo to confirm that every animal in the facility is secured.
