Tachiman CPP Embrace Grassroot Mobilization Drive

The Bono Regional Chairman of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Comrade Salifu Ali Dayinday, has said the party is targeting five parliamentary seats out of 12 in the region.


He mentioned Wenchi, Berekum East, Dormaa Central, Banda Constituency and Jaman North as the constituencies that the party had targeted to win.

It comes with no surprise that the Bono region has activated the Grassroot Mobilization Drive initiated by Nana Frimpomaa, the astute Chairperson and Leader of the Convention People’s Party (CPP).

Nana Frimpomaa revealed that the C PP is poised to right the wrongs committed in previews elections. She added that the new initiative is aimed at getting a solid base for CPP at every polling station across the country.

‘Already the party can boost of over 1 million new members who joined via the short code *920*277#’

Techiman is a city and is the capital of Techiman Municipal and Bono East Region of Ghana. It is a leading market town. Techiman is one of the two major cities and settlements of Bono East region.


Expanding on the Grassroots Mobilization Drive of the Convention People’s Party, Nana Frimpomaa said, the party will be very active in all 12 parliamentary constituencies of the Bono Region namely Banda,
Berekum East, Berekum West,
Dormaa Central, Dormaa East, Dormaa West, Jaman North,
Jaman South, Sunyani East,
Sunyani West Tain and Wenchi by December this year.

‘So far we have covered seven regions and the enthusiasm at the base is very encouraging. The good news is that every political position in the duo-poly (NDC and NPP) is sealed and closed, only CPP has advertised over 8000 position to be filled by new members’ across the country’ Nana Frimpomaa
