1. As Ghana prepares for 2024 elections, most political parties have already started mobilizing to attract and retain old and new members.
2. The Convention People’s Party (CPP) launched a re-organisation booklet to galvanise the party’s grassroots ahead of the general elections in 20241. The CPP in the second quarter of this year suspended it’s flagbearer elections to make way for an aggressive grassroot mobilization drive.
3. The exercise under the tutilage of Nana Akosua Frimpomaa, the chairperson and leader of the CPP has covered twelve regions so far
4. Earlier this evening, Team Nana Frimpomaa met with CPP executives at Ofoase- Ayirebi in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
5. CPP Executives of Ofoase-Ayirebi have taken custody of mobilization booklet: The booklet dubbed: “Organisation Decides It All” aimed at encouraging executive members of the Party to solidify the base of the CPP to help build a strong force towards 2024 elections.
6. The new CPP recruits are expected to supervise and man polling stations, electoral areas and constituencies.
7. Ofoase and Ayirebi are two of the four area councils that constitute the Akyemansa District in the Eastern Region.
