Hon. Musah Superior, a leading figure in the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has outlined a transformative 10-point reform agenda aimed at restructuring the party to enhance internal democracy, grassroots engagement, and overall effectiveness.
According to the outspoken former Mayor and Deputy CEO of Forestry Commission, he has responsibly and formally presented the proposal to the National Council of the party adding that it is the obligation of each committed member to work towards getting the party back to power in 2028.
Key among his proposals are:
Community-Based Executives Replacing Polling Station Executives with community-based executives to improve grassroots participation and party mobilization.
Inclusive Internal Elections Granting all card-bearing members in good standing the right to vote in internal elections, reducing corruption and fostering broader democratic participation.
Reformed National Council Dissolving the current National Council and empowering the National Council of Elders to play a more strategic role in party governance.
Strengthened Research Directorate

Establishing a standalone Research Directorate, separate from election operations, to enhance the party’s ability to respond effectively to national issues.
According to Musah Superior, these reforms are essential for rebuilding and repositioning the NPP as a formidable political force ahead of the 2028 elections. He emphasizes that the party must evolve to meet contemporary challenges and restore confidence among its members and supporters.
