Stop Bulleying Poor Traders- CPP Boss To Regional Minister Henry Quartey

The Chair and Leader of the Convention People’s Party Nana Akosua Frimpomaa has made a categorical statement calling on the Greater Accra Regional Minister Henry Quartey to Stop Bullying Poor Traders in Accra.

Market Traders Tell Their Stories

Nana Frimpomaa made the call on her live show ‘Time With CPP’ on Metro Tv when her media team engaged traders in Accra on what they say is the persistent attacks and seizure of their food produce by sauntioned agents from the Regional Ministry.

The CPP Boss said ‘It has become the norm that rulling governments flex thier muscles and show strength only to bully the most vulnerable in society. How long will petty tlraders who have to struggle in the sun to sell to feed their families suffer in the hands of the Regional Minister Henry Quartey. I want to know the plan. If the Regional Minister, Henry Quartey does not make heads roll at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly and the Town and Country Planning, he has no business bulleying poor traders. If indeed there are marketing shops at the main market squares, how much are they and how many common market women can afford it?’

Stop the Bully, Nana Frimpomaa tells Henry Quartey

Scores of Ghanaians have expressed worry over this unfortunate development and have called on Nana Akosua Frimpomaa to intervene on their behalf.

Hon. Henry Quartey, the Greater Accra Regional Minister personally called on the show to register his displeasure and debunk statements made by the irate traders.
